CFP® Information

As recently mentioned on the front page of The New York Times, individuals authorized by the CFP Board to call themselves CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professionals have completed the established and rigorous education, examination, experience and ethical requirements of the CFP® certification process. The CFP Board takes seriously its enforcement of ethical requirements and recently adopted an updated and strengthened set of ethical standards designed to make sure the public has access to ethical financial planning services. Rigorous continuing education requirements are also in place to make sure that certificants stay abreast of industry developments.
